What happens if you add heat to synthetic hair extensions?

I have short jet black hair and I'm planning on adding green clip in hair extensions. I want to be able to curl the extensions but it says add no heat to it.

will it cause significant damage to the hair extension if i do add heat?

are there any other methods to curl it without heat? What happens if you add heat to synthetic hair extensions?
yeah it will, they break and they'll fall out , i did this to mine and they were falling out but there are otheres ways to curl hair without adding heat,Rag Ties

Step

1

Cut strips of fabric in 3- to 4-inch strips that are 2 inches wide.

Step

2

Section hair in three sections across the top, two sections on the sides and three sections down the back.

Step

3

Roll each section of hair around fabric strips and tie the ends (or secure them with a small hair band).

Step

4

Allow the hair to dry while it is wrapped around rag pieces.

Step

5

Carefully unroll each hair section so the hair does not knot, and use a pick or wide-toothed comb to comb out the hair. Style with hairspray or spray gel.

You can add moderate heat and it should be ok. Put it on the lowest possible setting and do it very quickly several times.

I have styled several pieces of synthetic hair this way. It's always best if you have a test piece just in case this particular brand of synthetic doesn't react well.
It will melt them as they're made of nylon. You could curl them with a round brush and the hairdryer on a moderate heat but certainly no curling tongs or other styling tools.

Can I give you some advice?: synthetic extensions always look dreadful, though I've not seen you I'm 100% certain your hair will look better without clip-in synthetic extensions.
They will more then likely melt if you add heat. Synthetic hair is the worst kind of extensions your pretty much stuck with them straight. You can call who ever sold them to you and ask their opinion. But you should really have gone with human hair extensions.
It will cause them to melt. If you can get some human hair extensions then you can curl them. They'll look a fair bit more natural too than synthetic ones.
They will most likely melt or be damaged.
