Synthetic hair extensions?

Im getting EasiXtend extensions soon and the site says you can apply some heat to the Synthetic extensions When I only thought you could do this to the human hair since the synthetic would melt or burn. So can you apply heat? Cause every synthetic extensions I have ever had burn when I straighten/curl themSynthetic hair extensions?
Synthetic burns... don't do that!Synthetic hair extensions?
aww im sorry no you can you'll burn it trust me no omly human hair
It's true, it will burn/melt if you use a curling iron. You can use heat on it, but extremely low/mild heat, like warm rollers, or a short time under a dryer (again, very low heat). that will set it.

When I used to braid my hair, I'd wrap the ends (very long braids, mind you) around the skeletons of sponge rollers, and hold them in boiling hot water for 15-20 seconds, then dipped them in cold water to set the curls (and cool them off!). Curled beautifully.
