Are synthetic hair extensions a big up keep?

im getting them done on thursday.


im getting 20-25 put in, a few of my natural hair color... and a few of a regular color (i.e pink) and my mom tells me its not worth it because theyre just gonna be trouble? they last 2-3 months, and then you can get them tightened or whatever... heres the link.

Meh the girls/guy on that website look weird. You are a cute girl you should get the streaks on the side of your hair, but dont overdo it. Try 4-5 and try getting a color that stands out like maybe blue or pink.Are synthetic hair extensions a big up keep?
Honestly I got some done just some streaks of blonde I think i had 6-7 in, and I kept them for 2 weeks. I got sick of them. They are an absolute pain, if like me you straighten you hair... I you aren't careful you melt the glue, even if you are being carefull. And man oh man does it ever damage your hair,


especially for the fact that its where the new hair grows back in... You aren't giving your hair any chance. And it looks raty cause if your hair is somewhat thick or has volume you will be able to tell right away you have extensions cause the extensions are limp and thin...


I regret getting mine done, and I don't recommend anybody


doing that to their hair, get clip ins... alot less damage, and you wont have melted glue everywhere on your scalp...


Did I mention the synthetic hair constanly falls out, so over


a small period of time it really becomes thin.


Most hair dressers will dissagree but thats because they just


wanna get paid, so be careful.

honestly hair extensions aren't really worth it...it'd be cheaper to just take the time and patience to grow your hair out yourself, but maybe you can find some that you can clip in. Try the color out first beceuase if you get the ones for 80 bucks you're stuck with them for 2-3 months like you said...and you might not end up liking that color or something.
