Synthetic hair extensions?

I currently have real human hair extension, but I've found that they're too much to keep up with. After washing them they curl, which is good because my hair is naturally curly. I have no reason to straighten/curl them, which ultimately was the reason I got real hair extensions.


I've heard that synthetic are cheaper and easier with upkeep? Is this true, or is it not worth my money? I definately don't want my hair to look fake, but I don't want to have to pay the money for real human hair extensions.Synthetic hair extensions?
Synthetic hair is cheaper than human hair. I would say upkeep would be relatively the same. Synthetic hair can get really ratty at the ends from rubbing against fabrics, but so can human hair.





There is a type of synthetic hair that looks just like human hair. it's premium synthura you can actually use low heat on this type of hair up to 200 degrees.


There's also kanekalon hair which also looks just like human hair. You can also apply low heat to this type of hair as well.

I've had synthetic hair extensions before and after comparing them with real human hair extensions, there is no comparison. Synthetic hair extensions look like Barbie doll hair.





Real human hair extensions are much better because you can dye them along with your own hair so they look much more natural. They add a bit of drama, length and volume.





If you want to add some variety to your hair extensions, why don't you try adding an extra set? A little bit longer? Or you could try using a crimping iron, or one of those new three barrel crimpers which is what a lot of models are using these days.





I ordered some human hair extensions off ebay from sensational hair and beauty, I'm pretty excited because they're 20 inches in length! Hopefully I won't have to dye them to match my hair but if I do I'll probably end up taking them to a salon.



you cant use heat on synthetic extensions they melt


so you wouldn't be able to use curling tongues





you could use plastic curlers


but that's if they work i wouldn't know as i don't have them


also synthetic are plastic which gives them a shine which is what makes them look unnatural


and as its not real hair its not a natural colour its a chemical colour
