i only ever have real hair extentions, but when mine get a little bit dry, i smoother them in conditioner and leave them for at least like 2 hours, btu the longer the better, so it can really soak in. rinse them, and if possible, put them on a radiator to dry naturally. if you blow dry them, it will just dry them back out again. good luck! :)

EDIT: do not put shampoo on them!! shampoo is designed to wash away the grease and natural oils that your scalp produces, as these are not your hair, they do not have the oils to be washed out. if you use shampoo on them, it will dry them out even more. just soak them in conditioner, to smooth them out and make them softer! How To Look After My Synthetic Hair Extensions?
Synthetic ones wont last long at all,

its better off to by more expensive real ones, because they last so much longer, and look so much better your getting your money's worth in the long time.

try washing the syntetic's in cold/luke warm water, and mix a little baby shampoo into the water, then rinse under the tap, whilst gently combing.

To make them straight, let them dry in a flat position on the floor naturally, pulling the end of the hair as far away from the clips as possible, but be really gently and make sure you dont pull them so much they break.

Comb them, then leave them to dry naturally.

When they're almost dry, using a cold setting on your hair dryer, hold the bottoms of the extension down, and the opposite side (the clips) and move the hairdryer is straight vertical motions.

Dont move from side to side otherwise they will get knotty.

Always keep them in a box/bag which is large enough for them to lay without curiling the end ..and keep them flat, so they stay straight.

Only wash them when nessecairy, otherwise they wont last as long.

Oh, and when the start to look frizzy and tatty, trim the ends, that normally helps
Okayy hun, if you wash them they'll become all fried, I think. You can't use a normal hair brush to brush them, you have to use a brush with metal brisle things, which are the things that brush the hairr. You can't style them straight cuz you can't use heat but you could try a straightning balm. There's one by Tresseme that's good.
i have synthetic hair extensions too. wash them as you would wash your hair and brush them and leave them to dry naturally. if they are a little wavy if you want to take the risk straighten them. mine are synthetic and i always straighten and curl them (they are definitely synthetic they were only 拢5) Hope i helped :]
dont wash them ! DONT STRAIGHTIN THEM BECAUSE THEY'LL KETCH ON FIRE,SYNTHETIC IS BAD ! dont wash it because then it'll gert more knottty ,comb it out puit some moose on it...and call it the day

How Do You Make Synthetic Hair Extensions Wavy?

Generally, you can't use hot styling products on synthetic extensions, as I'm sure you're aware of, so all I can think of is to wet them. I have lots of experience with human hair extensions and they generally curl when wet, so I'm sure you can wet yours and monitor them as they dry, maybe blow-drying a little bit to get the desired effect.

Hope that helps. How Do You Make Synthetic Hair Extensions Wavy?
I would wet them, plait them tightly, then leave in the sun to dry naturally. The more hair in the plait the looser the wave. DO NOT use ANY hot tools- straightener, curlers, blowdryer etcHow Do You Make Synthetic Hair Extensions Wavy?
i dont think synthetic ones curl as easy as reall hair extensions
    1.get them wet

    2. Curl them

    3. Plait them then take them out

What does it feel like to wear synthetic hair extensions?

i want to get human hair extensions about 16 - 18 inches long. i wonder if they feel wierd or heavy once they're on your head. do they come off easily or bother you at all? is it a worthy purchase because i hear they are expensive. What does it feel like to wear synthetic hair extensions?
I have 16 inch extensions and they aren't heavy at all!! They are worth every penny! I'm 13 and i can put them on and take them off easily! I hope they work as good on you as they do on me!:)What does it feel like to wear synthetic hair extensions?
When I wear extensions I usually forget I'm wearing them. They're not heavy, if anything is uncomfortable it would be the clips. They come off pretty easily depending on how they're styled.

The benefit to human hair extensions is obviously that they feel better to the touch, but also you can style them (curl them, straighten them, etc...), which would ruin fake extensions. If you think you'll be getting a lot of wear out of your extensions then I recommend real hair ones. If you're not going to be wearing them frequently then go for the cheaper fake hair ones.

Is It Possible To Dye Synthetic Hair Extensions?

I'm thinking of buying these hair extensions from Claire's cuz they're pretty cheap. But I'm assuming that they're synthetic instead of real human hair. But is it possible to dye them using regular hair dye? Thanks! :]Is It Possible To Dye Synthetic Hair Extensions?
take it from a professional, do not attempt do color or lighten synthetic hair. u can't really wash the color out and it will be matted together...not a good idea! :) did you know u can find different colors??? but i can tell u that human hair is a good investment and not as costly as u may be thinkingIs It Possible To Dye Synthetic Hair Extensions?
Yea, you can probably dye synthetic hair. It's just like dying regular hair. If you don't think it is going to work you can test it on a small extension first.

What Can And Can't you do with synthetic hair extensions?

like can you color them? use a straightener on them? Use a curler? wash them regularly? I want all the details you gotWhat Can And Can't you do with synthetic hair extensions?
Well, with my experience in using synthetic hair I know for a fact you should not use a straightener; the only way to straighten it is to dip the hair in boiling hot water or buy a bag of hair that is already straightened. Using a curler: no way- it's synthetic hair = plastic and it will melt. You can wash them regularly as you would your own hair, however, washing them too often will cause slight frizziness and frayed ends. I'm not sure about coloring though, but wouldn't recommend it. You can always buy the hair in the color you need ... they offer a variety of shades.

Hope that helps some! ;o)What Can And Can't you do with synthetic hair extensions?
no, you can only do those type of things with human hair extensions, which are the best way to go even though they more expensive
synthetic: you cannot colour, dye use heat like rollers or blow dryers or irons or regular shampoo... you have to use wig shampoo and if you want them curly use foam rollers

with human hair extensions you CAN do all the above

Can you cut synthetic hair extensions?

They are clip ons and they are wayy too long and my hair is way too short for that to look good.

Also if you happen to know is there any styling you can do with synthetic extensions, they are board straight and it seems like I can't straighten my own hair enough to match it.. I know you can't use hot tools on it...right?Can you cut synthetic hair extensions?
Yes you can get them, but don't cut in a direct straight line as they will go frizzy at the ends, instead cut upwards with the scissors. The best style apart from straight with synthetic exstentions is simply to get them wet then leave the in plaits in till there completely dry, giving a nice wavy effect.
