Can you dye synthetic hair extensions?

I bought a couple of hair extensions. I ordered ';Darkest Brown'; But they look more black then anything! I do have dark hair, but dark BROWN...can I dye them to make them match my hair? Thanks. Can you dye synthetic hair extensions?
Yes you can dye hair extensions, but no, not black ones. You can't bring black to brown. And if you try to bleach it, it'll just come out all orange and ugly. If you can't take them back and you paid a lot of money for them, I suggest dyng your hair the same color as them. Dark brown is always iffy. I always dye my hair dark brown and I can never remember which brand I use, so the 'dark brown' always comes out different. This time it was pretty much black. Just try washing it a bunch and see if it lightens up naturally. Sorry bout that, and good luck! Can you dye synthetic hair extensions?
Debs is absolutely right!!! Fortunately for you there is also color remover for fabrics. All you have to be proficient at is the science of color. For example to make brown 3 parts blue, 2 parts red, and 1 part yellow. From there it's a cake walk. Oh and to perm synthetic hair.....dampen the hair, roll on appropriate sized rods and bake in a very low temperature oven on a wig block 'til dry. In other words....Don't do it. Spend the money to either dye your hair to match or to buy human in your color. Good luck.
I don't think you can dye synthetic hair with our regular hair dye. You need to use a fabric dye, may be.
You can dye the hair but we would recommend seeking professional help for this, or if you are feeling adventurous, dye at home but only darker. Do not try and bleach the hair.
